Called spoke with a woman and made a reservation everything was fine, I realized I could save time by using their shampoo and not bringing my own but was unsure if they had guest shampoo. Called back same woman and asked if they provide guest shampoo or do I have to bring my own she immediately told me in a sarcastic manner that they actually don't have any rooms available and hung up. What in the world? Needless to say I won't ever be calling them back again. Also Dominos Pizza has a coupon program for all the hotels in town if you call and order pizza the front desk gets a card collect 10 and the hotel gets a free pizza, all except Sundown Motel. They are excluded from this program just goes to show how terrible this place is.
Very clean and pleasant. The person that can not speak well is the owner's brother. He is handicapped. He is a great guy, he is just hard to understand and has limited vocabulary. This is a 'mom and pop' place and is clean place to stay at a good rate.
I just spent 3 nights at this Motel and it was a nice clean, quiet place. And the staff was very friendly. I would recommend this Motet to any one.
I'm only giving 5 stars because I stopped in to check rates. The man who often answers is handicapped. I'm sure he's offering as much assistance as possible when you call. The rates are the cheapest in town and based on other review (I haven't stayed yet) the rooms sound pleasant! Don't judge based on a handicapped issue.
Great little motel! Clean, very friendly, the rooms a little dated, but that was the charm of it. I loved it , Will stay there again!
