Old, run down furniture with holes in the sofa. The sofa which folds out to a bed had springs that poked through to my daughter's back. The pool is tiny & ice cold. The hot tub was full of sand and so filthy I thought a frog was going to hop out of it. The room itself was spacious and the bed was semi comfortable. Can't find a decent hotel in Aberdeen at a reasonable rate.
Hotel staff has been great. Good breakfast. Simple but fresh. The only reason I. Gave this a 4 start instead if a 5 was because the pool was very very small. So if you have kids who enjoy going swimming when you go to a hotel then I wouldn't suggest it. But we went to the water park here in town which was pretty nice. I would gladly stay here again in the future.
Very nice! The staff is considerate, the rooms are cheap, and the vending machine is always loaded, and a hot tub in every room! It's exactly what a hunter deserves!
Hotel overall and room itself were very clean, including the breakfast area. The pool was a bit of a letdown, as it was smaller than expected. I'm not very good at estimates, but I estimated it at about 18' by 30', with about one sixth of it carved out for the whirlpool. There were no towels both nights we stayed, and none were brought the first night. The second night we got two bright near the end add it was just my son and I. The whirlpool was also very dirty that night in comparison to the pool itself. 20-25 people is pushing the limits when you consider kids want to jump in regularly and play/swim. The bed was to soft for me personally, but the pillows were fine. The sheets and blankets were comfortable. The room was sized nicely for three people to be comfortable, although the bathroom (toilet and tub/shower) room was a bit small. A nice bonus was that the window could be opened. Overall,a very good stay in my opinion.
Clean, nice staff & overall ok. Not quiet though, I could hear the people in the next room zipping up their suitcases. Good continental breakfast.
