Now unlike most students on here, I shall give an honest opinion about the school and valid examples and arguments for my opinion. The school simply does not understand freedom and individuality; I understand a school should keep it's halls safe for the students learning inside, however when the school makes a conscious effort to hurt the pride and creativity of those trying to not only educate themselves on biology and chemistry but creative writing, art, and above all learning to be an individual. At Central they do not teach you that; they teach you to follow the crowd with your head down and do as your told. The teachers at Central however are incredible and encourage us to be individuals and fight for what we believe in. Despite this proper education from teachers the administration pushes for conformity and devalues us as students and human beings.
Central High feels like a prison. If you report bullying, they don't help you as the victim, they help the bully win the battle. The dress code is stupid. They treat athletes better than anyone else including the fine arts department. They only dress code some people not everyone. If you're not in sports or you stay out of trouble, they barely know your name. Until graduation day. Don't allow decorating the caps for graduation but allow honor cords. Even though they don't want us to individualized ourselves. The parking lot is literally a danger zone in all. It takes 30 minutes to get out and accidents happen often. This school made me feel less safe. I'm so glad I'm done with that place. Worst four years of my life.

This school is ridiculous they never handle any situations responsibly and never listen to the students. they handle situations how they think they should they don't listen to how the student wants it handled.The Administration is ridiculous they say that this school is a "safe" and "healthy" environment for kids, but yet we have so much bullying and kids who are hurting and the teachers know it and they don't do ANYTHING about it. CHS is the worst high school and i would not recommend it to Anyone. i'm so happy this is my last year. i just wish it would go by faster.
HIGH-SCHOOL IS ONLY AS GREAT AS YOU MAKE IT. I went to this place and I had the time of my life. I'm sorry for those that feel this place was a prison or hated everyone there, life only gives as much as you put in. Go to school, take interest in what you're learning and don't think of it as a chore. Join extra circulars or do some sports. Find a group of friends that you will appreciate for the rest of your life. Don't go around searching for the perfect person because you won't find them. Learn to live with those around and you will come to appreciate their differences. The teachers in Central are some of the best in the country, appreciate them. In fact one of the only best things about Central is their teachers. Be friendly and don't disrespect them. They enjoy teaching and you should learn as much as possible from them as you can. LASTLY, enjoy your years in high school. Don't constantly be focused on when the year ends or when you graduate, LEARN TO LIVE IN THE MOMENT.
