What a cool place! We visited Storybook Land with the kiddos. Lots to do, and got lots of walking in. Loved the castle most.
You can camp here with tents or campers. You can also rent a cabin. We did - it was nice for a campground cabin. The cabin was basically a single wide trailer made to look like a cabin. It was new, clean and in really good condition. It had, AC, a kitchenette with fridge and a 3/4 bathroom. The bedrooms were on the opposite ends of the unit so nobody got disturbed when sleeping.
I walked around the park in late fall and it was beautiful. The pond was full of birds and the park was serene. Everything was clean and there were plenty of walkways for me to meander down. The walkways were wide enough for a few people to walk side-by-side and the pathways were paved so wheelchairs, strollers, or bicycles could easily navigate the pathways.
Very nice park. Free to get in and rides are incredibly inexpensive. Lots of things to see.
Also tried out Thunder Road where we did Go karts, played mini golf and rented a 4 person bike. All relatively inexpensive, and everything was in good shape and clean.
The place to stop when coming through Aberdeen. Looking for great food with a kids menu. Check out Minerva's just up the road located in the Ramkota Best western.
Great little amusement park in Aberdeen. If you have little kids, you can make a wonderful, memorable weekend here.
