Well today I looked all over the store for artichoke dip-had some yesterday and it was wonderful. Was sent from deli to produce to dairy to meat. No one had a damn clue where it was. I left.
Not a fan of the service. The produce is the best. Compared to other stores, it is expensive.
More than that, though, is the alcohol selection. Their alcohol selection is head and shoulders best in Aberdeen, but there's a price to pay for it: some hard liquors can be 20% more expensive than they would be in Minneapolis liquor stores, but that's not surprise since Kessler's doesn't have any real competition for fine alcohol. If you need a bottle (or 6) of Goose Island BCBS without any fuss, or a bottle of E.H. Taylor bourbon, this is the place to go. Granted, of you want a good case of Bud Lite for the ice fishing trip, deer camp, or just to watch the game, they have great value in their 12 packs and cases, too.
Love it very much! This is a locally owned grocery store with wide range of different foods, fresh produce and meats.
Kessler's is the best grocery store in Aberdeen. Sure, it's more expensive than Wal-Mart (what isn't) but the meat selection is top notch in the city, the staff is very helpful, and their produce freshness is great.
